Elementless absorption dryer

Heatless absorption dryer

Technical specifications:

  • Purge gas consumption: less than or equal to 14% to 20% of the total flow
  • Working pressure: 0.6 to 1.0 MPa
  • Permissible oil content in inlet air: less than or equal to 0.1 mg/m3
  • Exhaust gas pressure dew point: between -20 and -40°C
  • Adsorbent: Activated alumina
  • Cycle Working time: 10 to 20 minutes (alternating between absorption and regeneration)
  • Air inlet temperature: 0 to 45 degrees Celsius
  • Power supply: 220V/50Hz
Element-free adsorption dryer
  • Large-sized tower body to increase air flow rate and effective contact time with the adsorbent
  • High-performance adsorbent with stable performance and long life
  • High-capacity silencer to reduce noise when discharging regeneration air
  • One-way valve and air diffuser made of stainless steel with high corrosion resistance
  • Electrical box with protection degreeIP54 for protection against dust and water splashes

Reliable design:

  • Using ceramic support balls at the bottom of the absorption tower to distribute air evenly, prevent the absorbent from getting wet at the bottom of the tower, and thus increase the service life of the absorber
  • Specially designed steel shunt to significantly reduce pressure drop
  • Customized high-performance absorber to achieve excellent dew point
  • High-performance pneumatic valves as standard configuration; These valves have more reliable performance and lower pressure drop than diaphragm and solenoid valves.
  • With High efficiency oil and dust removal filter in the control path of pneumatic valves

Operating principle:

The heatless adsorption dryer uses Pressure Swing Adsorption to dry the air.

After passing through the adsorption and moisture removal tower, the compressed air is divided into two parts: the main part is consumed and a small part (about 14% to 20%) is used as Purge Gas.

After reducing the pressure to atmospheric pressure, this regeneration gas becomes drier and enters the other tower (which is saturated with moisture), where it passes through the absorbent layer, absorbs the moisture and removes it with it. This process is repeated periodically between the two towers, allowing continuous regeneration of the system without the need for heating.
